    Abstract
Defines what a riparian area is, the green area next to rivers, creeks, streams, lakes and wetlands. Explains how grazing livestock, such as cattle, can destroy riparian areas. Suggests ways to exclude livestock, such as fences, alternative drinking facilities, and providing paved or gravelled crossings. 8 pages.
