    Abstract
A land-use history is a record of how land has been used by previous owners as well as natural disturbances that may have occurred. Understanding how your land has changed over time can provide insight into the overall quality of the land. As you consider your land management plan, researching the landuse history will deepen your discussion of resource conditions and management practices and help identify factors that may affect the use or management of your property. This manual provides step-by-step instructions for completing an ownership and land-use history in King County.
